Our Client is an award-winning and fast-growing consulting company, working with Founders of Seed to Series A invested companies to help them generate predictable revenue. They specialise in working with B2B tech startups who are between 5-35 employees and have helped more than 70 to date. Although they feel like they’re just getting started! Founded in 2017 they believe there’s a huge opportunity to help even more businesses grow.

The Role

After tremendous year on year growth they now want to expand the team and recruit a Marketing Manager to work closely with the CEO. The successful candidate will focus on acquiring and retaining new customers through the management of all online and offline marketing programmes. Key activities include:

Create marketing campaign plans and agree success criteria and metrics jointly with the senior leadership team.
Promote brand awareness across all relevant social and digital channels using media such as blogs, posts, podcasts, newsletters, videos and partner content.
Identify, create and expand local partnerships and alliances to generate more B2B leads.
Create specific persona-based lead generation campaigns which match the stage of the tech company and territory.
Nurture marketing qualified and sales qualified leads to maximise the opportunity of purchase.
Engage in lead nurturing, autoresponders, drip campaigns, lead magnet follow up sequences, behavioural workflow nurture and ultimately prioritise prospects by likelihood of purchase and their lead score.
Produce on-brand and on-style weekly content.
Develop and maintain on-brand sales collateral.
Perform ongoing analysis, tracking and reporting on the company B2B lead marketing initiatives.
Monitor ongoing campaign metrics, make necessary tweaks and feedback to key stakeholders.

The Candidate

Essential

5+ years in B2B lead acquisition and marketing.
Proven track record in managing a B2B marketing function including pipeline generation, creating and managing campaigns from concept stage to ROI analysis.
Experience in creating marketing dashboards that track critical drivers, KPIs and lead behaviour and source types.
Demonstrable experience in distributing content (audio and media) over social media.
Comfortable working with marketing automation, email and CRM systems.
Super organised and structured.
Excellent communication skills – strong written and oral communication skills.
Entrepreneurially minded with a drive to continuously hit goals and agreed deadlines.
Proactive mentality with curiosity and desire to learn quickly.
Must be comfortable with continuously changing opportunities.
Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with Leadership, Sales and Delivery.

Terms

The role is seeking circa 20 hrs/wk, able to work flexibly across the week.
Competitive salary – £55k-£60k FTE* depending on experience.
Remote based role with occasional meetings as necessary.
30 Days Holiday plus bank holidays.
Earn ownership of the company and help continue its 100% year on year growth.
Perm contract is on offer but also open to contract or freelance applicants.
